Thanks for the tip! When you say 'check the battery', what exactly do you mean? Should I just test the voltage, or is there something else I should be looking for?

Yeah, start with a voltage test, but also check the battery's overall condition. See if there's any corrosion on the terminals, and if you can, get it load tested. If the battery is failing, the alternator might be overcompensating, leading to your overvoltage issue. Though honestly, with electrical gremlins like that, it's often best to get it properly diagnosed at a workshop.

Thanks! You were spot on. The battery was indeed heavily discharged and defective. Replaced it, and the overvoltage errors are gone! Repair cost me 290€. Really appreciate the help!
