Insignia Passenger Seat Fault

I had a similar issue with my Insignia's passenger seat. Does the driver's side work? Could be a fuse, but check the connections under the seat first; they can come loose.

Driver's seat works normally. Were your symptoms identical, specifically the stored error message and complete lack of seat adjustment?

Yes, exactly the same symptoms. I tried fiddling with the connectors but no luck. Turned out the seat motor was faulty. Best get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for confirming. Turns out a defective battery was the cause, leading to insufficient power for the seat motor. Repair cost came to 290€.
