Yeah, the diagnostic test showed an error related to the glow control unit, suggesting a possible short or open circuit in the wiring. I've checked the obvious stuff like loose connections, but I'm not really sure where to go from here. When you had the issue, was it definitely the glow control unit itself, or could it have been something else? What did you do about it?

Pretty sure it was the control unit itself, or at least, that's what they told me at the workshop. Honestly, I just took it straight in. Electrics aren't my strong point. Saved myself a headache in the long run. If your diagnostic is pointing that way and you've checked the plugs, it's probably time to get it looked at professionally.

Thanks for the input! I appreciate you sharing your experience. Based on what you and the diagnostic test have said, I think you're right, it's time to book it in at the workshop. For informational purposes, it was indeed the glow control unit, and the repair (including a new control unit) cost 95€. Hopefully, that'll be the end of it.

Sounds familiar! I had something like that happen with my Insignia. Engine light, smoke... the whole shebang. Did the diagnostic test give you any specific error codes?
