Insignia rough cold start
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Vauxhall Insignia with 130,000 km is experiencing rough starts when cold, with the engine running poorly until it warms up. The issue is suspected to be related to fueling, possibly an injector fault. It is suggested to check the fuel rail pressure and have the injectors tested, preferably by a professional. The problem was confirmed to be a defective cold start injector, which was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't checked the fuel rail pressure yet. How would I go about testing the injectors? Is that a DIY job or best left to a professional?

For injector testing, I'd recommend a workshop. Could be cold start injector playing up. If it's like mine was, faulty injector is odds-on your problem.

Took it to a garage, and you were spot on. Turns out the cold start injector was defective. New injector fitted and all good now. Cost me 515€.

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Insignia. Have you checked the fuel rail pressure? Also, have you considered getting the injectors tested?
