Insignia seat heater failure

My 2009 Vauxhall Insignia, gasoline engine, has a driver's seat heating system that's stopped working at 203254 kilometers. No heat at all, and there's an error code. I'm thinking it's the heating mat. Anyone else seen this?

Similar thing happened with my Insignia. The seat felt constantly cold, even with the light on. Does the indicator light flicker, or is it just completely on or off?

The indicator light is steady, no flickering. And yeah, no heat at all. Did you get an error code too?

Yep, error code showed up. I took it to a technician who said it was a bad heating element. I'd suggest getting it checked out by someone who knows these systems.

Thanks for confirming. I saw a specialist, and it was the seat heating mat, needed replacing. Cost 390€.
