Insignia solar sensor fault

I'm having trouble with the solar sensor on my 2016 Vauxhall Insignia diesel. The error memory shows a fault, and the heating isn't working as well as it should. I'm thinking it might be a cable or plug issue. Anyone else had this?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Insignia. Check the sensor itself for physical damage first. It's a pain to get to, but worth a look.

Yes, identical symptoms, including the solar sensor error. I didn't fix it myself; I took it to a workshop. If you're unsure, I'd do the same.

Okay, thanks. I'll take it to a technician. They quoted me 95€ for the repair.
