Thanks! Can you be more specific about where to look for the connections and wiring harness? I'm okay with basic repairs, but sensor wiring is new to me.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the hall sensor wiring and charged 95€ to fix it. Saved me a ton of time!

I had something similar with my Insignia. The hall sensor wiring is likely the problem. Check the connections and wiring harness first. Corrosion or a loose connection can cause issues.
