Inspire Alarm Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Inspire hybrid experienced issues with its anti-theft alarm system, which was malfunctioning and storing errors, rendering the system offline. The problem was traced to the alarm system activating the vehicle's indicators, causing the control unit to malfunction. The suggested solution was to have the system checked by a workshop, where it was confirmed and resolved with a simple fix.

Intermittent at first, now it's kaput. What finally clued you in?

Mine was coded to activate the optical locking (indicators) when alarming, which caused the control unit to go haywire, at least that's what the workshop guys told me. I would get it checked out, should be an easy fix for them.

Spot on! Booked it in to the workshop - turns out the alarm system was activating the indicators which was causing the issue! 45€ fix, sorted. Thanks for the pointer!

I had a similar problem with my Inspire. Was it happening constantly or intermittently?
