Inspire Hybrid Transmission Error
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Inspire hybrid exhibited transmission issues, including warning lights, emergency mode activation, and shifting problems. The error memory suggested a radiator oil pressure defect, leading to suspicions of a defective cable or plug connection. It was advised to check for leaks and inspect the pressure sensor connections. The issue was resolved by replacing a corroded connector on the pressure sensor, restoring normal function.

Thanks for the quick reply. Where exactly should I be looking for these pressure sensor connections? Is there a specific area known to be problematic or prone to damage? Any insights on whether I should look at the radiator coolant itself, or specifically around where the oil cooler connects to the radiator?

The pressure sensor is usually near the oil cooler. I'd check the connection there first and then follow the lines back to the radiator for any signs of leaks or damage. Honestly, with those symptoms and error codes, it might be best to take it to a workshop. It could be a simple fix, but without proper tools, it could get worse.

Thanks for the advice! It turned out to be a corroded connector on the pressure sensor. The workshop replaced the connector and cleaned the contacts; cost me 95€. Everything is working as expected now.

I also have an Inspire hybrid and had similar symptoms. Did you check the oil cooler lines or the radiator coolant level for leaks? It might also be a faulty pressure sensor. I'd start with leak detection and checking the sensor connections.
