Inspire System Readiness Error
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Honda Inspire owner experienced a system readiness error message on the speedometer after using an OBD2 scanner. This issue was accompanied by the vehicle inspection light being illuminated. Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, the vehicle inspection light is on, adding to the fun. Was yours on too? What exactly did you have to do to fix it?

Yes, the vehicle inspection light was on in my case as well. I would recommend you to visit a workshop to have your car checked. The onboard diagnostics might have to be reset.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! Turns out, it was exactly as you suspected. The OBD2 reading had somehow flagged the system readiness. A quick reset at the workshop, and everything's back to normal. Cost me absolutely nothing, thankfully!

I drive a Honda Inspire as well. Your issue sounds similar to one I encountered. Was the vehicle inspection light illuminated, by any chance?
