Integra air valve issue

My 2004 Honda Integra with a gasoline engine (100612 km) has a check engine light. Scanner points to an air valve problem. I've checked the air intake and throttle body and suspect a vacuum leak, maybe between the pump and the valve. Anyone seen manifold pressure issues like this?

Summary of the thread

A 2004 Honda Integra had a check engine light issue, with a scanner indicating an air valve problem. The owner suspected a vacuum leak between the pump and the valve. Another person with a similar experience suggested checking the hose connection from the pump to the valve, as it might be letting air in due to hardened rubber. Upon inspection, the hose connection was indeed the issue, and replacing it resolved the problem, clearing the check engine light.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Integra here! Exact same thing happened last year. Check the hose connection from the pump to the valve. Seriously, I bet that's it!

Interesting! Do you recall what the hose looked like? Was it cracked, or just a loose connection? Any specific area I should focus on? Trying to avoid engine stalling.

It looked fine, but it was letting air in. The rubber hardens and doesn't seal. Just go to your workshop and tell them the problem. They will know what to do.

You were spot on. It was the hose connection. Replaced it, and the check engine light is gone. Cost me 175€. Appreciate the help!
