Integra audio system failure

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2005 Honda Integra with a gasoline engine. The audio system just completely died on me. No sound whatsoever. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. The head unit powers on, but there's no output. I'm at a loss. I've got 102513 km on the clock. Could it be a blown speaker or something worse? Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Integra. Have you tried checking the wiring harness behind the head unit? Sometimes those connections can come loose.

Thanks! I haven't checked the wiring harness yet. Is it difficult to get to? Do I need any special tools, or is it pretty straightforward?

It's not too bad. You'll probably need a trim removal tool to pop off the dash panels without scratching them. But if the wiring is OK I would suggest you go to the workshop. My bass speaker turned out to be defective.

Thanks, I will check the wiring harness. But if it's not that I will just book an appointment with the shop as you suggested. Sounds like the bass speaker might actually be my culprit. I got it fixed for 280€ Thanks for the hint!
