Summary of the thread
A 2023 Honda Integra hybrid is experiencing a check engine light, reduced fuel efficiency, and rough idling, suspected to be caused by a faulty knock sensor. Spot on about the ignition timing! Scan tool confirmed the knock sensor's throwing a code. Was your issue definitely the sensor itself, or something else playing tricks?

Sounds like the knock sensor is your culprit and you need to replace it. It's a pain, but replacing that thing will get you sorted. Honestly, I'd just take it to a trusted shop if you're not super confident. Best to get it done right.

Thanks a million! Booked it into the shop, they confirmed it was a defective knock sensor and a dodgy connection. 95€ all in and she's purring like a kitten again. You saved me a ton of grief!

Dude, I had similar gremlins in my Integra! Check engine light city, and yeah, the MPG went down the drain. I bet your ignition timing is all over the place too. You need to get a scan tool and see what codes are popping up. It could be a faulty knock sensor, but don't rule out other things either.
