Thanks for the info. I've given the wiring a cursory glance, but I'll take a closer look. When you say 'similar problem,' was it the sensor itself, or was it also a wiring issue, and did you perform any sensor diagnostics?

In my case, the problem was indeed the sensor. I'd recommend having the system professionally diagnosed to pinpoint the exact cause. If it is the sensor, replacement should resolve the issue.

Took your advice and got it checked by a workshop. Turns out it was indeed the interior temperature sensor. The cable was damaged. They replaced the sensor and repaired the wiring. Cost me 95€ all in. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar problem with my 2014 Opel Ampera. The symptoms you describe are very close to what I experienced. Have you checked the sensor's wiring harness for any visible damage or corrosion?
