iOn Blower Motor Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2017 Peugeot iOn's fresh air blower motor stopped working, despite the fuses being intact. An OBD scanner indicated an error, leading to the suspicion of a defective blower motor. A faint whirring noise prior to failure suggested motor issues. A similar problem was resolved by replacing the blower motor, which restored functionality.

Now that you mention it, there was a faint whirring sound for a week or two before it died completely. I thought it was just road noise! Did yours completely fail suddenly, or was it more gradual? Did you ever get a final repair cost?

Mine was gradual, the fan speed slowly got worse and worse until it just packed in completely. Given your whirring sound, it does sound like the motor. I'd get it checked out by a workshop; could save you some serious headaches. A new fan speed controller could be also the culprit.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a local garage and, as suspected, it was the blower motor. Replaced it, cleared the error, and everything is working perfectly now. Cost me 365€ all in. Appreciate the help!

I also drive an iOn. I had a similar problem with my HVAC system last winter. Was there any unusual noise before it stopped? Maybe a squealing or rattling sound?
