iOn Windshield Wipers Failure

My 2018 Peugeot iOn (electric) has an issue. With 71003 km, the windshield wipers aren't working, and there's an error stored. I've checked the wiper blades, turn signal, and cruise control. Could it be a defective cable or plug connection?

The steering column wiring harness? I hadn't considered that. Why do you suspect that location, and what should I look for?

Well, in my case, it was a loose connection there. I tightened it, and the wipers worked again. I'd suggest going to a workshop to get it done correctly. They said it was a defective cable or plug connection. The repair cost was 95€.
