Ioniq audio system failure
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Hyundai Ioniq owner experienced a complete audio system failure, with no sound output despite checking the fuses. The issue was suspected to be related to a defective bass speaker, possibly triggered by using USB audio. After professional inspection, it was confirmed that the bass speaker was defective, and replacing it resolved the problem, restoring full audio functionality.

Yes, I was using USB audio just before it happened. Could that have damaged the bass speaker or sound system?

It's possible there's a software glitch related to the USB input that could be affecting the sound system. However, when it happened to me, the workshop confirmed it was a defective bass speaker. I'd suggest having the audio connectivity professionally inspected.

Thank you for the insight. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the bass speaker. A replacement cost me 280€. The audio system is now fully functional again.

I have an Ioniq as well, and faced something similar recently. Did you by chance try using USB audio or the auxiliary input before it stopped working? In my case, it seemed to occur after fiddling with the audio connectivity settings.
