Ioniq low brake fluid
Summary of the thread
The initial concern was low brake fluid and a strange brake pedal feel in a 2016 Hyundai Ioniq hybrid. Possible causes included worn brake pads or leaks in the brake lines. The suggested solution was to have a mechanic inspect the brake system. The issue was confirmed to be worn brakes, which were repaired, resolving the problem.

Thanks, I haven't checked the brake lines. Where should I look for the leak?

Given the symptoms and mileage, worn brake pads could be causing the low fluid. See a mechanic for a brake system inspection. It's better to be safe.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. The workshop confirmed it was worn brakes, and the repair cost 480€. All sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my Ioniq. Have you checked the brake lines for leaks? Also, when was your last hydraulic brake inspection?
