iQ Climate Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Toyota iQ diesel is experiencing climate control issues, including weak heating and a non-functional AC. The problem is suspected to be a bad connection, possibly related to the temperature sensor wiring or connectors behind the climate control panel. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty connector, and professional inspection is recommended to save time and ensure proper repair.

Thanks! Was it the same symptoms? I'm thinking it could be the temp sensor itself, or just the connector. Any other hints before I rip the dash apart?

Yep, same symptoms. Weak heat, AC not turning on. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a dodgy connector. It's probably best to get it checked out professionally; could save you a lot of time.

Cheers! I went to the workshop as you said. Turned out to be a corroded connector, just like you guessed. 95€ and it's all fixed. Much appreciated!

I had similar issues with my iQ. Check the temperature sensor wiring and connectors behind the climate control panel. These cars are known for electronic faults in that area.
