Issues with Carly OBD Scanner - Seeking Refund

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Carly OBD scanner for my 2004 Mercedes CLK. Unfortunately, I've been having issues with it. Despite testing all my OBD port wires, the Carly scanner keeps showing 'ECU not responding'. I bought a different brand OBD scanner and it worked perfectly on the first try. I've been reading up on this and found several videos suggesting that this might be a scam. I've also heard that the company is reluctant to issue refunds. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you handle it? I'm seeking a full refund as the product took over 2 months to arrive and hasn't worked once. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds frustrating that the Carly scanner isn't working for you. Before pursuing a refund, ensure that the scanner's firmware is up to date, as sometimes updates can resolve connectivity issues. If it's still not working, document your attempts and contact Carly's customer support with this information to strengthen your refund request. Let us know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

Thanks for the response. Where do i ipdate the firmware??

To update the firmware, you'll need to use the Carly app on your smartphone. Connect your phone to the scanner via Bluetooth, open the app, and check for any available updates in the settings or support section. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
