ix20 electrical malfunctions
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Hyundai ix20 is experiencing electrical malfunctions, including a dead navigation system and an error in the onboard diagnostics. The issue may be related to implausible programming of the control unit. A similar case was resolved by addressing a software bug at a workshop. The suggested solution is to have the software reset by a professional.

Interesting! Besides the navigation not working and the error code, I haven't noticed anything else obviously wrong. The indicators and warning lights seem normal. What exactly was happening with yours?

Okay, so it sounds pretty similar to what happened to me. I had a few warning lights flickering randomly, and the radio would cut out sometimes. I think you're on the right track with the control unit programming. In the end, I had to take it to a workshop to get it sorted out. They said it was a software bug.

Thanks for confirming! I'll take it to a trusted workshop and get the software reset. Hopefully, that'll solve the problem!

Hey! I had something similar happen in my ix20. Random electrical gremlins popping up all over the place. Did you notice anything else acting strangely, like the indicators or any warning lights flickering?
