ix20 System Readiness Check Incomplete
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Hyundai ix20 diesel owner faced an issue with an incomplete system readiness check after using an OBD2 scanner, leading to an error message on the speedometer. The problem was suspected to be related to a computer reset or diagnostic sensitivity. A suggested solution was to drive the car to allow the system to reset itself, but ultimately, visiting a workshop to clear the error memory resolved the issue without any cost.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Driving it, huh? How long are we talking? I've done maybe 50km since the OBD2 thing. And did you have the exact same symptoms – error stored and message on the dash?

Yep, exact same symptoms. I ended up going to a workshop. They just cleared the error memory. I think driving it only works if the car finds no real errors.

Okay, cool, sounds like a plan, I'll go to the workshop and see if they can reset it. Just got back from the workshop, and it's all sorted! They cleared the error memory, and it didn't cost me a thing. Thanks for the tip!

I had a similar issue with my ix20. Seems like these cars can be a bit sensitive after OBD2 diagnostics. Did you try driving it for a while to see if the system readiness resets itself?
