ix20 Washer Fluid Warning and Pump Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Hyundai ix20 diesel had a persistent 'washer fluid low' warning despite a full reservoir, and the windshield washer system was non-functional. Diagnostic scans indicated an error related to the washer system. The issue was resolved by replacing a faulty windshield washer pump and repairing a damaged connector, restoring the system's functionality.

Thanks. Where is the electrical connection, and what should I look for? Don't want to break anything. Also, no, the washer motor is silent. What tests did you do?

The washer motor is usually near the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. It's best to visit a workshop. I would check the fuse first, but you'll likely need a new washer motor or there's a wiring issue somewhere.

It was a faulty windshield washer pump and a damaged connector. The repair, including parts and labor, was 25€. The windshield cleaning system is now working.

I had a similar issue with my old Vauxhall Corsa. Check the electrical connection to the washer motor. Corrosion or a loose wire can cause those symptoms, even with a full reservoir. Is the washer motor making any noise when you activate the system?
