Interesting. What kind of test did you have done on the injectors? And what did you end up doing to fix it?

I just took it to my local mechanic, and they ran a diagnostic on the injection system. Turns out, one of the injectors was defective. I ended up replacing it. If you are not familiar with this, I suggest you visit a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. They confirmed it was a faulty cold start injector. Repair came out to 515€. Runs like new now!

Hey! I have an ix35 too, and I had very similar symptoms a while back. Hard starting, especially when the engine was cold. Have you tried getting the injectors tested? That was the root of my issues.
