ix35 Tailgate Hall Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Hyundai ix35 owner is experiencing an issue with the tailgate hall sensor, causing the tailgate to stop halfway and store an error. The suspected cause is a faulty cable or plug connection. Another owner with a similar problem suggests taking it to a workshop, where the issue was resolved, confirming the suspicion of a connection problem.

Yep, error stored for sure. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you end up taking it to a shop?

Nah, I'm not brave enough to mess with sensors! Took it straight to the workshop. They sorted it out quick, think it was a dodgy connection like you reckon.

Thanks! Workshop it is then. Just got it sorted, 95€ lighter but at least the tailgate now works like a charm!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got an ix35 too, and I had a similar tailgate drama. Was yours also storing an error in the memory?
