Jade brake error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda Jade owner is experiencing brake issues, with an error message appearing on the speedometer and poor braking performance. The problem might be linked to incorrect brake system bleeding. Another owner with a similar issue suggests checking the ABS system and identifies the brake booster pressure sensor as a potential cause. The original problem is resolved by replacing the brake booster pressure sensor, restoring the car's safety.

The brake performance is definitely impacted! It feels like I'm driving on ice sometimes. How did you figure out your issue? Did you use any diagnostic tools to pinpoint the problem, or did you just take it straight to a shop? Was your error message the same as mine? Any thoughts about that incorrect bleeding theory?

Okay, braking on ice is seriously not good! In my case, it turned out to be the brake booster pressure sensor. I just took mine to a workshop to get it sorted, it was the fastest way. Honestly, with brakes, do you really want to take the risk? I'd suggest you do the same to be on the safe side.

Thanks a million for sharing your experience! You were spot on; it was the brake booster pressure sensor. Cost me 90€ to get it replaced, but at least the car is safe again. Seriously appreciate the help!

Whoa, that sounds familiar. I've got a Jade too, though not a 2016, and I had some brake weirdness a while back. Was it impacting brake performance? For me the pedal felt strange, less responsive somehow. Did you check the ABS system? I wonder if that might throw an error too.
