Jazz fuel level sensor fault

My 2012 Honda Jazz hybrid is acting up. The check engine light keeps popping on, and it stalled twice today while idling! My OBD reader shows a fuel level sensor fault. I've checked the fuel cap and looked for a fuse, but I can't locate one for the fuel sensor. Any ideas before I throw money at it?

Summary of the thread

A 2012 Honda Jazz hybrid is experiencing issues with the check engine light and stalling, with an OBD reader indicating a fuel level sensor fault. The problem may be linked to a faulty fuel level sensor, as indicated by erratic fuel gauge behavior. A suggested solution is to replace the sensor, which resolved the issue for another owner with a similar problem.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same problem with my Jazz. Is the fuel gauge acting weird too?

Yeah, sometimes the fuel gauge seems a bit jumpy, but I thought I was just imagining it! What exactly did you do to fix it? Did you replace the whole fuel pump assembly or just the sensor itself?

For me, the gauge fluctuations were the first sign. I ignored it for too long and then the engine started acting up too. Honestly, I ended up taking mine to a mechanic. I'm not that confident messing with fuel systems. Saved me the headache!

Okay, thanks! I'll take it to a workshop. The sensor replacement cost me 52€, and now everything works again. I appreciate the help!
