Juke Coolant Loss and Check Engine Light
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Juke is experiencing persistent coolant loss and an active check engine light, with stored error codes. The engine temperature appears normal, and the coolant is not visibly contaminated. While topping off the coolant might provide a temporary fix, it is recommended to have the vehicle inspected by a professional to diagnose and address the underlying issue.

The engine temp seems normal, and the coolant looks okay to me. Just low. Think it's worth topping off and seeing what happens?

While adding coolant may temporarily resolve the immediate issue, it will not address the root cause of the coolant depletion. Given the symptoms you have described, and the absence of readily apparent issues such as external coolant leaks, I would suggest a visit to a qualified workshop for diagnosis. The cost of repair was about 52€.

Appreciate the advice. Thought so, but wanted to check before I dove in headfirst. Taking it in this week.

Greetings. It does indeed sound familiar. I have a Juke myself. Have you observed the engine temperature gauge registering in the overheating range? Also, what does the coolant within the reservoir look like? Is it discolored, or does it have an oily sheen present?
