Juke Diesel Drift Compensation Error

I had a similar issue with my Juke, though not diesel. The 'drift compensation' error sounds like the ECU is struggling to fine-tune the fuel delivery, almost like a musician trying to keep an instrument in tune with a broken tuner. I would check the injectors first; however, without the proper tools, you won't be able to rule out a faulty ECU, which may require injector mapping/coding.

Given the symptoms and error code, it's likely an injector. However, like a doctor trying to diagnose an illness, it's best to confirm with proper testing before starting treatment. I'd recommend a workshop. It was the best thing to do in my case.

I appreciate the advice; a workshop seems best. It turned out to be a defective injector, needing replacement and fuel injection recalibration. Cost me 515€.
