Juke Diesel Drift Compensation Error

Thanks. Could you give me more detail about your experience? Did the onboard diagnostics pinpoint the injector, or were there other things to consider? I'm wondering if a simple compensation adjustment was enough, or if it needed more work.

The onboard diagnostics pointed to an injector issue but suggested further testing, which I could not complete without the appropriate tools. Given the symptoms and error code, it's likely an injector. However, like a doctor trying to diagnose an illness, it's best to confirm with proper testing before starting treatment. I'd recommend a workshop. It was the best thing to do in my case.

I appreciate the advice; a workshop seems best. It turned out to be a defective injector, needing replacement and fuel injection recalibration. Cost me 515€.

I had a similar issue with my Juke, though not diesel. The 'drift compensation' error sounds like the ECU is struggling to fine-tune the fuel delivery, almost like a musician trying to keep an instrument in tune with a broken tuner. I would check the injectors first; however, without the proper tools, you won't be able to rule out a faulty ECU, which may require injector mapping/coding.
