Juke Hybrid Fuel Pump Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Nissan Juke Hybrid with 192,921 km is experiencing starting issues, stalling at idle, rough running, and increased fuel consumption, with a check engine light indicating a potential fuel delivery problem. The initial suspicion was a bad cable or plug connection in the fuel pump system. After checking the relay and fuse, which were fine, the issue was confirmed to be a defective cable connection to the fuel pump, which was repaired by a mechanic.

Good point, I'll check the relay and fuse. If those are okay, is the fuel pump the most likely culprit, or could other components in the fuel delivery system be involved? What else could cause these symptoms?

If the relay and fuse are fine, and you still have those symptoms, it's likely the fuel pump itself or a blockage, like a clogged fuel filter. With that mileage, a failing pump is possible. Unless you're comfortable with fuel system diagnostics, I'd suggest a workshop. Fuel systems can be tricky and dangerous without the right equipment.

The relay and fuse were fine, so I took it to a mechanic. It was a defective cable connection to the fuel pump, as I thought. Repair cost was 95€.

Sounds like fuel starvation. Have you checked the fuel pump relay and fuse? It could be a simple electrical fault preventing power to the pump. Like a light switch – could be the bulb, or the switch. Isolate the power supply chain before blaming the pump.
