Juke lighting fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Nissan Juke owner reported a lighting fault where the lights would randomly turn on, accompanied by an error code. The suspected causes included a defective cable or plug connection. Another individual suggested checking the tail lights, automotive switch, fuse box, and dimmer switch. The issue was resolved by repairing a faulty main light switch on the steering column.

Thanks! When you say 'automotive switch', are you referring to the main light switch on the steering column, or is there another switch I should be looking for?

Yes, I was referring to the main light switch on the steering column. It can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues when it starts to fail. I would recommend taking it to a workshop for inspection to be sure. My repair cost was around 95€.

Thanks for the info. I took it to the shop, and it was indeed a faulty light switch. Got it repaired. Appreciate the advice!

They would like assistance with the following problems on a 2013 Nissan Juke F15 gasoline car: When the lights are switched on, the daytime running lights do not work, but when I switch to headlight mode, they work continuously! The windshield wipers only work in certain positions; sometimes they work properly, sometimes not. In the hazard light position, the daytime running lights and the wipers work correctly! The steering wheel switch (combination indicator-light-wiper switch) has already been replaced; it worked temporarily afterwards, but now the problem has reappeared. Thank you for your help!

Check the vehicle's ground connections, as poor grounding can cause erratic electrical behavior. Ensure all ground wires are securely connected and free of corrosion. If the issue persists, it might be worth having a professional inspect the vehicle's electrical system. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!

I've experienced similar lighting issues with my Juke. Have you checked the tail lights? The automotive switch is also worth investigating. Check the fuse box too, and the dimmer switch. It might be something simple. Let me know if that helps.
