Juke poor starting and high fuel consumption

My 2010 Nissan Juke with a gasoline engine is starting poorly, and fuel consumption is way higher than normal. I've also noticed a reduction in engine power, and the idling is really uneven; sometimes, the engine even stalls completely. I'm thinking it might be a dirty injection valve. Any thoughts?

I had similar symptoms with my Juke. Misfires can cause all sorts of problems. Have you checked for any error codes? It might be worth looking into the injection nozzles; they can get clogged up over time.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't checked for error codes yet, that's a good idea. When you say injection nozzles, did you have one specific nozzle that was causing the trouble, or did you replace them all?

In my case, it turned out to be a defective injection nozzle. It was causing the misfire and emissions issues. I ended up having to get it replaced at a workshop. Best to get it checked out professionally.
