Voltage check is a good idea. Where exactly did you see your Volvo issues manifest? Was it the same starting problem?

Yes, the starting was definitely affected, especially in cold weather. The electronics were acting strange too. I'd recommend getting a professional to diagnose it properly. Could save you a headache.

Thanks for the insight! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. Auxiliary battery wasn't charging. Cost me 290€ to replace, but everything seems fine now. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my Volvo a while back. Error messages, electrical gremlins... Turned out the auxiliary battery was kaput. Have you checked the voltage on that battery when the engine is running?
