Jumper Bypass Valve Error Overheating

Thanks for the quick response. I did a visual inspection of the exhaust system, didn't spot anything obvious - no cracks or leaks. Where exactly should I focus my attention regarding the exhaust? And regarding the connector, where is that located? I checked the main harness but did not look deeply into the electrics.

On mine, the problem was further down the exhaust system towards the rear; the connector sits right next to it. But honestly, with those symptoms, it’s tricky to diagnose without proper tools. If you're not seeing anything obvious, I'd suggest getting it checked by a workshop. They'll have the diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the root cause.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Took it to the workshop, as you suggested, and you were right, it was indeed a faulty sensor further down the exhaust that triggered the bypass valve error as a consequential error. The replacement fixed the overheating issue as well. The valve itself was perfectly fine. Repair cost 0€ - warranty covered it.

Interesting. I've had a similar problem with my Jumper. Same bypass valve error and overheating, too. Did you check the exhaust system? I am assuming the bypass valve is electrically controlled, so could be also an electrical fault such as a corroded connector.
