Jumper DPF Exhaust Pressure

That's what I'm leaning towards. But is there any way to test the exhaust back pressure sensor without just replacing it? I'm not keen on throwing parts at it without being sure.

Testing it properly needs some diagnostic kit to read the sensor values in real-time. If you're getting those symptoms, though, and you're already suspecting the sensor, it's a pretty common failure point. Maybe best to get it checked at a workshop?

Thanks for the advice. Replaced the exhaust back pressure sensor, and that seems to have sorted it. Cost me 245€ all in. Appreciate the input.

Sounds like a pain. Have you checked the exhaust back pressure sensor? Low pressure readings could definitely trigger those symptoms. Is the DPF regeneration kicking in at all, or does it seem to be stuck?
