Jumpy Air Suspension Fault

My 2007 Citroen Jumpy with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. The air suspension seems buggered. The van's basically slammed – won't lift at all and it's leaning to one side. Reader shows an error related to the air suspension. The speedometer's lit up with a warning light, and now my low beams are shining all over the place. I'm thinking it might be the compressor, but the wiring and connections seem suspect. Has anyone else wrestled with this demonic suspension?

That sounds like a pain! Something similar happened with my old Vauxhall Astra, although it wasn't air suspension, just regular springs. It was doing the whole leaning thing too, and the lights were messed up. Have you checked all the fuses and relays related to the suspension? That's where I'd start before ripping anything apart.

I did check the fuses – all seem fine, unless I missed one. The relays though, that's a good shout. Whereabouts were yours located on the Astra? And did the error codes you were getting point to anything specific, or just a general suspension fault?

On the Astra, the relays were in the engine bay, in that main fuse box. As for the error codes, it was just a generic suspension fault. Honestly, after messing about with it for ages, I just took it to a garage. Turned out to be a sensor and a dodgy wire. Saved myself a load of hassle in the end. Might be worth getting yours looked at by someone who knows their stuff.

Cheers for the advice. I'll double-check the relays, but you're probably right – time to bite the bullet and get it to a proper mechanic. I did a bit more digging and I think the problem is a defective cable or plug connection. Apparently it's a known issue and the repair will be around 95€ Thanks again for your help!
