Jumpy automatic temperature control issue

Experiencing an issue with my Citroen Jumpy, build year 2007, gasoline engine, 105757 km mileage. The automatic temperature control no longer functions, and an error is stored. The air conditioning system does not switch on. Diagnostics suggest a fault with the interior temperature sensor, specifically a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

Hey, I've had something similar happen in my Jumpy. The automatic temp control went haywire, and the AC wouldn't kick on. Did you check the basics like the fuses related to the climate control system? Sometimes it's just a simple fix like that. What error code are you getting?

I have checked the relevant fuses, and they appear to be in working order. I do not have the specific error code at hand. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your issue and how it was resolved?

Right, so in my case, the error pointed towards the interior temperature sensor. The garage checked the wiring and the sensor itself. They confirmed that the connection to the sensor was dodgy, and the sensor was sending random values to the climate control unit. This resulted in the system not being able to correctly control the temp and just shutting down the AC as a failsafe. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop; might save you a lot of time and headache.

I appreciate the confirmation and the suggestion. Based on your experience and the diagnostic results, I will proceed with a visit to a trusted workshop for further inspection and repair. The estimated cost for sensor replacement is approximately 95€.
