Jumpy Blower Motor Fault

My 2003 Citroen Jumpy diesel has developed an odd fault. The blower motor is completely dead. I've scanned it and it's showing a fault with the AUC sensor. Anyone else come across this? Could a faulty air conditioning sensor really stop the whole climate control system from working?

Interesting. Had a similar thing with my old BMW 3 series. The odor sensor went kaput, but it didn't kill the whole blower. Did you check the sensor's wiring and plug?

I did have a look, seemed ok. But could be the issue, right? Is it worth cleaning the plug with contact cleaner, or am I wasting my time?

Definitely worth a shot, but on my BMW, the sensor itself was the culprit. Given the age and mileage, it might be time to visit a workshop. A proper diagnosis is crucial.

Turns out it was a defective cable/plug connection on the AUC sensor, exactly as you mentioned. 95€ and all is good. Thanks!
