Jumpy diesel injection issues

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't specifically checked the cable and plug connections. Is there anything in particular I should look for, or any specific areas where these connections are known to cause problems?

On my Scenic, the connection to the first injector was the culprit. It was visibly corroded. Give all the connections a good visual inspection and maybe try disconnecting and reconnecting them to ensure a good contact. But to be honest, given the symptoms, I would go to a workshop, maybe a defective component of the injection system is the root cause

Thank you so much for your help! It turned out you were spot on! I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a defective cable connection on one of the injectors. They cleaned everything up and replaced a damaged plug. The entire repair cost 95€. Runs like a dream now!

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Scenic a few years back. Same symptoms: poor fuel economy, sluggish performance, and stalling. Did you check the cable or plug connections to the injectors and related components? They can sometimes become loose or corroded.
