Jumpy Electric Seat Fault

I haven't specifically checked the seat switch. Can you elaborate on how to verify the power supply to the seat motor? Is it a simple multimeter job, or do I need special equipment?

It definitely sounds like the same problem I had! If you aren't comfortable using a multimeter to check for voltage at the seat motor connector, I recommend taking your Jumpy to a trusted workshop and getting an expert opinion from a mechanic. In my case, diagnosis and fixing of the problem set me back 290€.

Thanks for the advice. I'll get it checked at a workshop. That cost gives me a good idea what to expect. I'll share what they find.

I know exactly what you mean! I had a similar issue with my Jumpy a while back. The electric seats are quite sensitive, it seems. You mention checking the seat harness – that's a good start. Did you check the seat switch itself, though? Sometimes the contacts get dirty or corroded, which can cause intermittent or complete failure. Have you verified the power supply to the seat motor? If the motor isn't getting power, that's the first thing to address.
