Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I did check the error code. It points directly to the solar sensor. You mentioned checking the wiring harness - any tips on what to look for specifically? I'm not super experienced, but I can handle basic stuff.

Okay, you've pinpointed the solar sensor. That narrows things down. I'm no mechanic, but from what I experienced, I would say stop trying things on your own and let a professional do the work. It can be multiple things... and, worst case, you'll damage other stuff. In the workshop they told me what the probable cause was: Cable or plug connection of the component defective. My repair cost was about 95€. It might be worth to go to the workshop.

Thanks a million for the advice! Seems like a trip to the workshop is in order. Knowing it's likely a cable/plug issue and roughly what the repair cost should be is a huge help. I'll post an update once it's sorted.

Whoa, solar sensor issue sounds familiar! I drive a Jumpy too (though not electric). I also experienced a heater malfunction and it also turned out to be related to a faulty sensor. I would check the sensor's wiring harness or replace the sensor, before looking at the whole climate control system. Did you already check the error code?
