Interesting! Where is that valve located, and is there any way to test it without special tools?

It's usually near the turbo, but honestly, accessing it can be a pain. I wouldn't recommend messing with it unless you really know what you're doing. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty actuator. The garage confirmed after a smoke test and replaced it. Best to get it checked by a professional to be sure.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. They confirmed a defective electrical bypass valve. Replacement cost me around 250€, but power is back to normal now!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Jumpy a while back. Have you checked the electrical bypass valve? It could be defective and causing a boost leak. Same symptoms: whistling, hissing, and loss of power.
