Ka brake fluid warning
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Ford Ka owner experienced a brake fluid warning light and unusual brake pedal feel, with the brake fluid level confirmed to be low. A similar issue was resolved by another owner by replacing worn brake pads, which were causing fluid leakage. The suggested solution is to inspect and potentially replace the brake pads to address the warning light and pedal issues.

Thanks! How soon after did you get the issue fixed when you saw the warning light?

I drove for a couple of days, topping up the fluid, but the light kept coming back so I didn't want to risk it. I booked it into a workshop ASAP after that. Turned out the pads were really worn and leaking fluid.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! Turns out my brakes were pretty worn too, just got them replaced today. 480€, ouch!

Hey there! I had something similar happen with my Ka a while back. Same symptoms, low brake fluid and weird pedal feedback. For me, it turned out to be worn brake pads. Worth checking those first!
