Ka headlight range control faulty
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Ford Ka is experiencing a faulty headlight range control, resulting in an error message and warning light on the dashboard, with low beams misaligned. The issue may be due to a malfunctioning servomotor within the headlight assembly. It is recommended to have a workshop inspect and potentially repair the servomotor, as it requires specialized tools and expertise.

Thanks for the quick response! The light intensity doesn't seem to change, no. Where exactly is the servomotor located, and is it something I can easily check myself?

Okay, if the light intensity is constant, it's even more likely to be the servomotor. Unfortunately, it's inside the headlight housing itself. Without specialized tools, you can't do much. The best thing you can do is go to a workshop. I ended up having to do that with my Astra, after a lot of futile fiddling around.

Appreciate the advice! I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the servomotor. Thanks again for your help!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old 2012 Opel Astra. Error stored in the error memory, warning light in the speedometer... does the light intensity change at all? I suspected the adaptive headlights at first, but that wasn't it. Have you tried checking the servomotor in the headlight assembly? Those can be pretty delicate.
