Ka rough idle poor performance
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Ford Ka is experiencing rough idling, poor performance, and excessive fuel consumption. The initial suspicion is clogged injection nozzles due to high mileage. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it is confirmed that defective injection nozzles were indeed the problem. Cleaning and replacing the nozzles resolved the issues, restoring the car's performance.

Dude, yes to both! The idling's so bad the whole car shakes sometimes, and uphill? Forget about it! Barely makes it. Are we talking same problem, same solution?

Yeah, sounds like what I had. In my case, it was a defective injection nozzle, possibly due to clogging. I would suggest that you go to the workshop.

Thanks so much for the tip! Took it to the shop, turns out you were spot on – injection nozzles were the culprits. Dirty as heck! Cost me 515€ for the repair and replacement, but she's running like a dream now.

Woah, sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Ka. Was the uneven idling very pronounced? Did you notice any performance drop?
