Kadjar ABS Fault

Help! My 2021 Renault Kadjar diesel is playing up big time! The ABS light is on, traction control is all over the place, and basically the whole ABS system is throwing a tantrum. The odometer shows 214108 km. Any ideas? I think it might be a dodgy control unit, but I'm no expert. Anyone else had this?

I also have a Kadjar, and that sounds familiar. Did you get any diagnostic codes when the ABS light came on? Does it happen all the time, or just sometimes?

Yeah, the diagnostics pointed to a speed signal fault. It's pretty consistent now, ABS light is always on whenever I start the car. Is that what you experienced?

Speed signal fault... yep, that's the one. Ended up being a defective ABS control unit. Best get it checked at a workshop, it's a bit beyond simple sensor replacement.

Thanks! That's what I was dreading. Took it to the garage, and you were spot on - knackered control unit. Cost me around 1000€ to get it sorted but at least it's fixed!
