Kadjar ABS Steering Tire Pressure Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Renault Kadjar diesel is experiencing multiple issues: a persistent tire pressure warning, an illuminated ABS lamp, and steering wheel vibrations, suggesting potential power steering failure. The problem was traced to a defective tire valve and a malfunctioning tire pressure sensor. Replacing these components resolved the issues, restoring normal vehicle function.

It's difficult to tell if the tire is actually losing pressure. I have checked the Tire sensor but it looks ok. I'm more concerned about the ABS and steering issues happening simultaneously with the Tire pressure warning. Your Opel Astra, did it also have those problems?

Turns out it was a defective valve in tire; the tire mechanic found it. Although my Astra didn't have the steering and ABS issues, I've heard reports that it could be related. I would recommend checking with an experienced auto repair shop!

Thanks for the insight. You were right about the tire valve. I took it to a shop, and they found that a valve in the tire was indeed defective and the tire pressure sensor did not work ok. They replaced it and replaced the sensor, total cost 280€. Everything seems normal again.

That sounds unsettling. I had a similar problem once with my Opel Astra. Tire pressure warnings going crazy alongside other weird electrical gremlins. Does it feel like the tires are actually losing air, or is it just the warning light?
