Kadjar Clutch Pedal Switch Issue

Hi, I've got a 2018 Renault Kadjar with a gasoline engine and I'm having some issues. I suspect it might be the clutch pedal switch. Mileage is at 62475 km. The error memory has an error stored, the gear selection display in the speedometer is not working, cruise control is dead, and sometimes the engine won't even start. Could a defective cable or plug connection really cause all this?

Sounds familiar. I've a Kadjar too. Had similar weirdness with mine. Gear selector acting up, car struggling to start sometimes... was like a bad dream. Did you check the clutch switch itself? That safety switch can be a real pain.

Yep, clutch switch was the culprit. I'm no mechanic, so I took it straight to a workshop. They diagnosed it pretty quickly and swapped it out. Honestly, with starting issues and the gear selector going haywire, I wasn't going to mess around with it myself. Best to get it sorted properly, wouldn't you agree?

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was the clutch pedal switch. New one cost me 95€, all in. Everything's working fine now.
