Kadjar Cruise Control Failure

Cruise control packed it in on my 2017 Renault Kadjar with a gasoline engine at 199842 km. Dash throws an error. I've checked fuses and speed sensor connections. Suspecting a defective cable or plug. Any ideas before I tear apart the steering wheel looking for a dodgy clock spring?

I had a similar cruise control issue with my Kadjar. Have you checked the actual cruise control switch and its wiring? Sometimes a loose connection there can cause havoc, or it could be the switch itself. Check if it is properly connected, could be a connectivity issue

Yeah, good shout. I did wiggle the cruise control stalk. How did you manage to fix your cruise control issue in the end? Was it just a dodgy connection?

Unfortunately, I couldn't pinpoint the exact cause myself. The error wouldn't clear, so I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said it was a defective cable. A quick fix for them.

Right, cheers for that. A defective cable, that fits. I will visit a workshop to check the cables and connection. Turns out they found the defective cable and a small connectivity issue and fixed it for 95€. All working now!
