Kadjar diesel turbo actuator issue

My 2021 Renault Kadjar diesel with 202549 km is having issues. The check engine light is on, and power is way down. It's sluggish, with whistling and hissing during acceleration, and sometimes stalls. Fuel consumption is also up. I suspect a boost pressure actuator fault or a defective electrical bypass valve. Anyone else seen this?

I had similar symptoms with my Renault Kadjar, though it was an older model. Sounds like it could be the turbo actuator. Have you checked the pressure sensor readings?

Pressure sensor readings seem okay, but I don't have equipment for deep analysis. How did you confirm the actuator was the problem in your Kadjar?

Given the whistling, hissing, reduced power, and your suspicion of the actuator, it's likely. My experience was the same. Without proper diagnostics, it's hard to be sure, but I'd suggest a workshop check. Cost me around 250€ to fix.
